Information
Natural support for seasonal and environmental sensitivities in dogs and cats
Does your pet become itchy during certain times of the year? Are they licking their paws, rubbing their face, scratching excessively, or reacting to grasses, pollens, wandering jew, or other environmental allergens?
Spring (Hom) is a gentle homeopathic remedy designed to provide natural support for dogs and cats experiencing seasonal and environmental sensitivities.
Many pets experience increased skin irritation, scratching, licking, ear irritation, and discomfort during periods when environmental allergens are more prevalent. While some pets show only mild symptoms, others can experience recurring seasonal challenges that affect their comfort and wellbeing.
For dogs experiencing recurring seasonal allergies, itchy skin, paw licking, ear irritation, or ongoing skin sensitivity, many owners also choose SkinVitality Canine.
Environmental sensitivities often affect more than just the skin. Many allergy-prone dogs experience recurring ear irritation, itching, paw chewing, redness, and seasonal discomfort. Supporting healthy skin, immune function, and skin barrier function from within may play an important role in maintaining long-term comfort, resilience, and wellbeing.
SkinVitality Canine was developed specifically to provide targeted nutritional support for dogs experiencing skin and allergy challenges and complements both Spring and Spring (Hom) particularly well.
Spring (Hom) provides gentle support to help pets stay comfortable while supporting healthy immune function and overall resilience.
Why choose Spring (Hom)?
Spring (Hom) was developed as a homeopathic-only alternative for owners seeking a simple homeopathic approach to supporting seasonal and environmental sensitivities.
Some pets are particularly sensitive to tastes, smells, or supplements added to food. Because Spring (Hom) contains homeopathic ingredients only, it is often preferred for fussy pets and owners wanting a purely homeopathic option.
If you prefer a herbal and homeopathic combination formula, our original Spring remedy may also be suitable.

Many owners choose to begin support before symptoms become severe, particularly when they know their pet tends to react during specific seasons.

Looking beyond the allergy symptoms
Many pets experience allergies season after season. While environmental triggers such as grasses, pollens, and wandering jew may contribute to symptoms, they are often only part of the picture.
From a holistic perspective, allergies are often viewed as outward signs that the body may be struggling to cope with underlying imbalances. This may help explain why some pets react strongly to environmental allergens while others living in the same environment show very few symptoms.
While Spring (Hom) provides support for seasonal and environmental sensitivities, long-term improvement may also involve addressing broader factors that influence health, resilience, and wellbeing.
Many pets experiencing seasonal allergies develop recurring symptoms affecting multiple areas of the body including the skin, ears, and paws. While grasses, pollens, and wandering jew may trigger symptoms, many holistic practitioners believe these allergens are often only part of the picture.
Allergies are frequently viewed as the end result of deeper underlying imbalances affecting the body's ability to maintain normal health and resilience. For pets experiencing chronic allergies, recurring ear irritation, itchy paws, skin sensitivities, or ongoing seasonal challenges, supporting skin health, nutrition, digestive wellbeing, and overall resilience may be just as important as addressing the environmental trigger itself. For this reason, many owners choose to use Spring or Spring (Hom) alongside SkinVitality Canine and, where appropriate, Fur Tissue Mineral Analysis (FTMA).
Why Fur Tissue Mineral Analysis (FTMA) may be helpful
Many pets experiencing allergies and seasonal sensitivities may also experience:
- Chronic itching
- Ear problems
- Skin irritation
- Food sensitivities
- Digestive challenges
- Inflammatory conditions
- Reduced resilience
Fur Tissue Mineral Analysis (FTMA) provides a personalised assessment designed to identify mineral imbalances, stress patterns, and nutritional factors that may be influencing your pet's overall wellbeing.
For pets experiencing recurring allergies, chronic skin problems, or ongoing sensitivities, FTMA may provide valuable insights into supporting long-term wellness.

How to use
Spring (Hom) comes in a liquid form; this is the easiest way to administer it to animals. It can be put straight into the mouth of the animal, making sure not to contaminate the dripper. You can do this by adding the drops to a teaspoon, lifting the lip, and place in the mouth. But we realise this is not always an option. So you can add the drops to their food, which is just as effective.
Dosage: 4 drops 3 times daily for up to 5 days.
How long will a 25ml bottle last: (based on 5 days as 1 course)
Cats and dogs: 6.5 courses per bottle
All instructions are on the bottle.
After the 5 days, what happens next?
The recommended dose is 3 times daily for 5 days. So what happens next? Usually, 1 of 3 things will happen, we have listed them below with instructions on what to do next.
- After 5 days, the itching will stop, so you can stop the remedy and reuse it when it flares up again.
- After 5 days the itching has reduced but not gone completely. Keep using the remedy till the itching has stopped, then you can wean them off it. For example, if you have been using 3 times daily, do 2 times daily for 4 days, then once daily for 4 days, then every second day etc. You can stop the remedy at any time.
- If there has been no relief from the remedy at all, then it is not the grasses and pollens that your pet is allergic to, so you need to look at other causes. We can help you with that.
General Disclaimer: Our remedies are designed to support the natural immune system of your pet and animal. We do not claim to treat, medicate or cure any health conditions. About Our Ethanol Base
At Natural Pet, our liquid remedies are preserved using organic-certified ethanol derived from a mild cane or wheat base and carefully prepared at a 10% concentration. This helps maintain product quality, stability, and shelf life while remaining suitable for daily use.
Ethanol and Your Pet's Wellbeing
Each dose contains approximately 0.4 of a drop of ethanol, an amount that is generally well tolerated by both cats and dogs.
If your pet appears sensitive to the taste or smell, you can:
- Add the drops to food or a favourite treat and allow them to stand for 20 minutes before feeding.
- Dilute the drops in a small amount of water and allow the mixture to stand for 20 minutes before administering.
For animals with heightened sensitivity, we recommend starting with diluted dosing and observing your pet's acceptance and comfort.
Our Commitment to Quality
We carefully select ingredients that reflect both purity and purpose. Our organic-certified ethanol is part of that commitment, providing a clean, reliable preservative system that supports product integrity while remaining gentle and practical for everyday use.

★★★★★Itchy dog issuesThis is perhaps the only thing that helps with my youngest dog. She came to me on apoquel injections(?) for multiple allergies, but since being switched to a raw food diet, some (not all) of her allergies have subsided. These drops help with her chewing her feet.

★★★★★Spring [Hom]My dog Archie was very itchy from, I assume ,running through the grass on our rural patch. Once I started using these drops his itching dropped dramatically and quickly. He seems to be through that phase now. I would definitely recommend these to any dog with grass allergies.

★★★★★Its Really Works!I have a 3 year old American Staffy Terrier and this is the first year his skin allergies had flared up. He has a white belly and white inner legs. He was quite red and splotchy in these areas and was starting to get patches of missing fur on his inner legs. I am so thankful to have found this product! His skin is no longer red or itchy and he is happy being able to roll in the grass and me not having to stress about his reactions afterwards. I followed the 5 day course as suggested and just give him a single top up every other day. Will be re-purchasing once this bottle is almost done with as we could not get through spring without this now! Thank you!

★★★★★AwesomeMy cat itches hard out all day and every day. Went to the vets twice and given antibiotics and creams but nothing helped and cost a lot.mum looked up natural remedies and found this product. You give them a couple of drops up to 5 times a day but after the second dose on the first day my cat was scratching far less and was insisting on lots of cuddles! She was so happy that she kept cuddling me for days. Highly recommend this product because it works!! And far more affordable than a vet visit.
